Might someone help me with this?

A new customer came in today with this hand written design. I am not very good at redesigning something like this. I am wondering where to go from here. Any recommendations on who I can send this to would be appreciated.

not trying to take business away from Eric, but people need to learn somewhere which this would only take a few minutes cause it's not complicated.

there use to be a good video or tutorial here, but i can't find it at the moment.

so here is the idea to recreating something simple in a few words from what i have learned. Hope it helps..

Yeah - talk the customer out of this one. RX under a pot leaf might not be the best branding for them - unless that's what they want. Ask them how the green diamond/leafy thing is supposed to tie into their business. But definitely offer them some alternative layouts if it has to stay. I saw a P and an X not RX when I looked at it.

Thank you so much Slapakiss, this is exactly what I was in need of. What program did you use to recreate this? I tried to vector it in illy but to no avail. I am sure you do not have time for a play by play but if you could tell me how you started I would appreciate it. Thanks again

Your welcome Angela, no problem.

adjusted the color to black and white and did a live trace and saved it as an eps in illustrator

then i imported it into flexi cause i'm better with the tools there then i am in illustrator as i'm still learning that program:banghead: and straightened up any lines and redid the corners and then took it in photoshop and played with the colors for a minute.

hope this helps you

This is traced in Illustrator using slapakiss suggestion of making a black and white in Photoshop first and then bring over to Illus.
