Mimaki CVJ150-130 Print Proble

Hello Everyone.
As a new member I would like to ask the group for any answers to this problem I have, it is on the Mimaki CVJ150 this machine is just over 2 years old and has been kept in first class condition and has never had a print head strike, it has had a new capping station 2 days ago, and I have done every clean in the manual, but still I cannot get this corrected. The machine only uses Mimaki inks and cleaning products, can this issue be resolved or will this machine need a new printhead, I have attached photos
Thank you in advance
Best Wishes
Mal

Did the white sponge in the new cap top become saturated with ink and turn mostly black after installing it and running a cleaning or is it still either all or mostly white?

Have you tried a head soak yet?

Hello
Try to do the nozzle wash function for 30 minutes ending with a hard cleaning. and send me a photo the nozzle test ..
If it does not improve, we will do a check pattern from the service.

Hello,
after fitting the new cap we had ink colours lines running downward, then after a wash and clean the cap became saturated, i have tried leaving it soaking for 6 hours and still it will not change, running out of ideas.

If you soaked for 6 hours and ink is flowing during cleanings, which it seems there is, then the head is probably fried. As mentioned above, you can try flushing the head with a syringe and cleaning solution but that's the last resort. It can also do damage to the head so only do so if you're ready to buy a new one.

It almost seems like there is a head strike. Check the head surface for any dents or scratches and that may give you a clue as to what went wrong. We've got the heads in stock here in Denver if needed. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
