Hi, on the machine mentioned you can place the lamps forwards and backwards, when we were trained the guy placed them apart where as the engineer who recently cam set them back to 0mm. does anyone have any opinions on this?

Thanks

That machine has 4 lamps. 2 large stationary ones and 2 smaller ones that move. When printing without white ink, you place them at 0. If you are using white ink, you move them depending what layer the white is printing. There should be an explanation in your users manual on where to put them. I have a customer who prints mostly white on the bottom layer, he places the lamps at the 25 mark. It is used to partially cure the white ink before the color layer is printed on top to avoid ink mixing. Then the larger lamps cure everything completely.

all four lamps look adjustable, thanks for your reply, I think the way it was set up was for the white printing but the trainer left it like that.

We have the JFK-200... and the side, adjustable, lamps never turn on. I've only seen them on when a tech was doing some testing... and they were actually white, not violet light. Am i imagining things?
