Mimaki JV3 160sp Loosing Ink

I have a mimaki jv3 160sp that is losing black ink, we have replaced the cap, dampers and realigned the carriage. It is still losing black ink, if anyone has had this issue or knows the cause please let me know. Put two new cartridges in the machine yesterday morning printed one small banner and the black was empty by 5pm. We also replaced the black head a few weeks ago so not sure which way to go next. Any suggestions would be helpful

Check the tube that runs from the black cap top, through the pump and into the waste tank. The end of the tube should be above the waste tank and not submerged in the waste ink. If it is, that's your problem. If the tube is submerged it creates a siphon and pulls all of the ink out.
