Mimaki JV3 Printer Questions

Hey everyone. Im new to the printing game, after a long time of research and learning ive decided to purchase a printer.
I have found a mimaki JV3 Printer - 6 Years old - Great condition, Service history etc.

My questions may be basic, but i havent found any of my answers in the forums etc.

* What is the ink set up in these printers ? it comes with exhaust system so im guessing an older ink set up
* Can this be changed to newer eco solvent inks ?
* If i were to purchase a new model mimaki vinyl plotter, will they work together without any hiccups ?
* Any pros / cons to the JV3 would be greatly appreciated.

The inks for that are the SS2 series, you can switch to the ES3 but you loose scratch resistance.
To set up a print / cut system we would need to know what software you have.

We bought our first Mimaki in 2005. It is a JV3160-SP. It has been a workhorse. We have had very few maintenance issues with it, and it still runs great today.

so it would be a good printer to buy ? They are asking $5500 AUD for it.. Then I was going to purchase a mimaki vinyl plotter to go with it..
