Hi. I have a Mimaki JV300-160. Not printing every day and not hard on the machine. Trying to figure out why I'm losing magenta on head 1 after a few prints. Nozzle wash/ soft cleaning cycle seems to bring almost everything back on head 1, but the first test print will sometimes look a little dirty. Second test print, looks better but still missing the lower right of column 8 magenta on head 1. I'll start a few prints. They look decent. Do a test print after that and magenta is partially gone on head 1 both magenta columns. For a few months I haven't been able to bring back magenta entirely on column 8 head 1 lower right. Head 2 started to become a mess about a year after it was replaced. I gave up on it. Seems that the issues always start at the lower right corner of of the test prints on both heads. I've started replacing dampers (2 dampers - the other 6 have never been replaced in 3 years), replaced the cap heads, using Triangle ink recommended by dealer, did nozzle wash overnight with shutting down power to the machine, tech support from dealer had me adjusting cap settings, flushing position, air pull position... nothing seems to work. They're now saying the print heads are probably delaminating so it's time for a new machine or a $7000 repair. Anyone out there have any thoughts on this one?
