Mimaki UJV100-160Plus White + Color

Hello.

Did anyone managed to print a layer of white and after that a layer of Color in the same pass with Mimaki UJV100-160plus?
I tried all settings but couldn't find anything without retracting the media.
I managed to print Color -> White in the same pass but not reverse.

Says it has two staggered print-heads so that's why.

The printheads are in an specific order. First color and then white. You can't reverse that order.
(Or maybe when the machine was new you could have chosen but it's permanent setup anyway)

Just take a look in your carriage and think about it. It's not physically possible to do both unless it's an 1-row system.

Seems like it can do 5-layer so it can probably also do 2-layer under and over on the fly without pullback. Or so I assume.

Most likely the setup is different. You can have staggered printheads but white on both and cmyk split on both. Depends on the machine.
Imagine like this but channel C and D on the head 2 and 4 has white. Then it can do all on the fly with no pullback.

But it seems like yours can only do 2-layer so most likely it's setup the way I described.
