I must have deactivated a font on my computer. Now some webpages look like the attachment below. Is there a way to know what font is missing? Can i look at the code of the webpage to determine this?

Look at the code.. but most pages will be using a style sheet, so it's not going to be in an old font tag anymore, it's going to be in a css header, or in a link css file.

Are you using Safari? Do the sites look okay with firefox etc? Might be an issue with certain fonts on your system.

If you are in fact running safari. Use Fontbook to validate your fonts. If that doesn't work, you might have to delete the system font cache. Which requires you downlading a specific program. Starting up in safe mode and reseting default fonts.

I will give that a try. Sometimes it happens on Safari and other times Chrome

oh. Another thing you might want to try after validating your fonts is disabling certain fonts to see which fonts are causing the issue.
