Hello PDF taken from the manual
Looks like you have a not so good problem.
Try reseating the cables on the boards.
You need to if possible take a copy of the CSV file before you do anything more, thats if you can..and then try uploading the csv file back again, this is not something you should play with if you dont know what you are doing, there are also firmware versions that need to be updated on the secondary board depending on what version of firmware you are currently running...Can you tell me what firmware you are running or wont it let you get that far?

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
Most of the time it means your main board's ROM is blown. Try re-uploading the parameters and if it keeps giving you the error, it's dead. I went through this with a JV3 and Mac Media attempted to fix it but they couldn't figure it out.

To follow up on this I have 3 printers so I am able to change part and board etc and what I found was it was not the main board, it was the very small board in the top right corner of the main board that is screwed down on top of that corner....

WELLLLL....so I thought!

Funning thing is I changed the main board from another printer and still had the problem so I was told to change the small board and walah!! It fixed the printer with the problem. But I thought just for fun lets put the small board on the the other printer that I thought was bad. Well it worked. So I had to by zero parts and just swapped the boards so maybe the cables were not seat well.

thanks for the help though!
