Mounting Aluminum Sheets to Expanded PVC

First post, so I'm just going to jump in and see what you guys think.

We do a lot of brushed aluminum letters where we simply mount it to 13mm Expanded PVC (E-PVC from 3A composites to be specific). We use 3M scotchweld 94CA contact adhesive.

90% of the time, we have no issues, but we have started to get some failures, and it seems to me that it is happening more than it should.

So my questions are:
Is anyone else doing something similar?
What adhesive are you using?
Are you getting good results?

Some mitigating factors: We are in a high desert area with temps from 0 degrees F to 100 degrees F. Humidity is always under 10%.

Thanks in advance, and I hope to offer advice at some point.

Welcome from BC.
I might suggest there is some contamination on some of the sheets.

Make sure the Aluminum sheets/pcs are warmed up before laminating. Set them in the sun for a short time.

small dots of silicone on a primed pvc and primed back of aluminum it gives with the weather and YES it will hold. It does leave a slight heigth in the letter but no big deal
