...the passing of such a rare and special friend should not go unnoticed.

You had posted something about Efiginia --- it's probably been a few years back now --- about her gentle nature and her assigned duties at the ranch. It made me think about the dogs that I've had that I could trust like that. Of the seven, there was only one.

Don't get me wrong, the rest were/are good dogs, but only Syd could read my mind and use good judgement --- even when I was wrong.

Those types are rare. ...and it sounds like you and the family have lost a great guardian and companion.
