mural with phototex + cut acrylic

Not a newbie
I was wondering, if I do a mural with phototex, do i can apply cut acrylic over it (glued to it)? Or should I be safe and drill holes in the wall?

Are you wanting to apply a full sheet of acrylic over it, or cut letters and/or logo? I would think you would want to apply the PhotoTex to the wall and then stud mount the letters or logo to the wall. I would not tape or glue anything to the PhotoTex for fear that it would pull away from the wall and bring it all down.

I have never tried either of these ideas, the above is what I would do to feel safe. Maybe some of the others on the forum have had experience with this.
