Mutoh 1204 Head/Damper change

I did a head /damper change can't get ink to pull to head. Cap station bad? Tried pulling ink with 2syringes not working.

Doesn't sound like cap top. Sounds more like ink isn't getting to the head either due to a blockage in the head or dampers or an air leak in the lines.

Move the head over the platen and check the gap between the bottom of the head and the platen. They should be parallel. On the 1204, a lot of the time the head doesn't get set all the way down and the left side tends to be higher than the right side which causes the cap not to seal. In that case you would just need to get back in there and wiggle it around until is settles down all the way. That's fairly common from what I've seen.
