Mutoh 1324 does not print rich black

hello everyone, i have a mutoh 1324 and i use flexi rip software. i noticed that when i save graphics as CMYK in illustrator, i cant get deep black. even if the black is 100/80/80/80. however when i save this file as rgb, it prints deep black. i am confused because when i printed on mimaki or roland in the past, and I always worked in CMYK graphic space and i never had any problems.
I use icc profiles for arlon slx+ cast vinyl.
has anyone had this problem?

I have no clue how flexi rip handles CMYK values, but if you download a trial of onyx, you can specify exactly how much of what you're putting down, and verify whether a black is coming in at k100 only, or 100/80/80/80.
