Mutoh 1624 E075 Err Head Temp

renegadeprints

I replaced a mx station, print head, dampers, and head cables and everything seemed to go great. After about two hours of the printer sitting idle I walk back in the room and it says E075 Err Head Temp. I replaced with another set of head cables that came in today. Everything looked good until a few hours later.... same thing.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Re-seating the cables seems to work for about another two hours.. My only thought is if the way I folded them there was pressure that would eventually pop one out but I checked and all the pins are still in at the same depth and nothing seems to be off.

Head heat errors mean the head is heating up due to a short. Check the cables and replace if they are damaged or dirty. If it's not the cables, it's usually a damaged head but it can be another electrical issue deeper in the machine as well.
