I currently have one. It would really depend on the used price they want for it.
When I have to replace a head in the printer it was roughly 3k.
Do you have a good service tech that knows that machine?
The printer does have its place and its market. I use it for clear materials that need white, fast turn signage, and small run signage.
I personally got a deal on a refurbished machine and it got me into the direct to substrate market and has further built the customer base and items I can offer in house.
The machine does have it down sides like every machine does.
1. The machine is slow.
2. The pinch rollers holders do break easy.
