Mutoh falcon rj-6100 eo16 [35] error

I have just bought a mutoh rj-6100 printer.
It was working fine, but now on start up displays error message - eo16 cpu error [35]
i have looked at the manual online, it ut says flash rom checksum error.
Can anyone help and explain this to me? Any solutions welcomed.

That's typically a communication error or a motherboard issue.
Unplug the data and power cord and let it sir for 30 minutes.

Turn the printer back on without the data cable, if it gives you the same error, then open the control box and reseat all cable connections and memory stick on the main board.

okay, tried powering up today. still same error message.
switched off for an hour, tried again. still the same.
open the control box on the bottom of the printer. took all connection off 1 by 1 and reseated. took out memory and put back in, put all back together and still same error message.
would be grateful for any other further suggestions.

Replace the mother board or time to upgrade to a newer printer.
