Need some help printer was saying not original on cyan and yellow put new chip reader in and updated firmware per tech.. now it says all inks are not original and all are and new. What could be problem? Thinking heather junction board but not sure and with virus no tech will come out dont want it sitting for weeks and going to junk.. any ideas I appreciate any help.. thanks

Before you replace any other parts check where the card reader has made contact with the cards on all colors. If the cards are out of position and the reader connects with parts of the chip it shouldn't then it scrambles the board and can cause this issue. Re positioning the chip on any cartridges with issues and restarting the printer with the cartridges out, then plugging them in one at a time when the printer requests them, normally fixes this issue. The attached picture is what the marks on the chip should look like.

If you have just one card with an error and the sensor is making proper contact with it then it is possible that you just have a bad card. If you have an old cartridge that had worked put it in the printer, if it reads as ink end or ink near end then the printer is working and the chip on the cartridge is bad. The ink supplier should be able to send you a replacement one.
