Mutoh RJ-6100 agfa sherpa 43" help with conversion

Hi im from the uk and am looking to buy one of these printer tomorow can any1 tell me what i wuld need from this site www.cmykparts.com to convert it ie. how many heads ect and what. also what ink can be used in it and whaere could i get it from im in the uk.

theres a few posts on here that i found after searching for the solvent conversion on google. so thought id see if the guys could give me some info.

You should be able to use the same heads, all you would need is a different pump and really you just need different hose that would stand up to solvent inks. Thats my opinion, so take it as that.

ok sounds good how many heads does the printer have 1 per color?. probably a bad question to ask but i havent got any experience with the print side yet

2 heads... 3 colors on each head. Whether you need to change the heads of not I'm not sure. I don't know what heads you have presently.
If the pump is good you only need to change the hoses to the ones that will take the solvent.

I gather you are changing from water based inks. I only changed from the original solvents to the newer harsher ones.

You may need to be a contributing member though. Well worth it tho.
