Hi I'm a newbie here, I am a Xerox tech and I work on a Xerox 8290 which is basically a Mutoh Rockhopper with a few changes. I found this forum very helpful in figuring out an E072 error, the manual was pointing to the main board, and cover interlocks but it turned out to be the fence Encoder sensor. This forum was more informative than our manual and support department put together.
I do have another problem while I was working on one 8290 machine at a customer's site their other machine jammed on vinyl the lever lifted and they moved the carraige and it broke one of the pressure roller levers. It is one of the rollers right over the paper drive roll. Has anybody had to replace one of these. There is absolutely no information in our service manual about how to put a new one in. I would appreciate any information you might have about how to do this. Thanks.
