Mutoh SC-550

Hi All, Im new here.
I have acquired this plotter from a sign writer friend. It died on him many years ago and he had it sitting in storage.

I do have an electronics engineer to hand to repair it but needs some help identifying the blown part.

We're pretty sure it is the power supply that is the issue. The componant has blown beyond recognition. We can not tell what rating it should be. We have the output voltages for each of the outputs from the PSU but not the current rating.

Does anyone have any advice on obtaining this information?
I will try to post a picture of the exact position of the blown part.

I am grateful for any help what so ever.

Sorry guys just noticed. Its a Mutoh SC-650 not 550 (same part though)

Does anyone have a broken mutoh or even the HITRON HVI216-40 PSU that could supply me with a few close up images to identify the damaged chip.

It would be easier and cheaper to identify the part than it would to buy that £300 replacement.
