Mutoh Tech???

Anyone out there know of a good Mutoh Tech in the L.A. Int. Airport area?
The last one I had was a fluke and all he did was take my money and fixed
nothing at all. I have a Falcon 48" printer that needs some work(2 colors aren't printing Black & Magenta. Changed dampers tried to clean lines but nothing. Hope someone can help me finding a tech.

I've had the same problem. Try a head soak overnight.

do you have ink in the dampers that are not printing?

Mutoh Problem

Yes there is ink in the dampers. But it seem it's not getting fresh ink to print.
It prints light green for magenta & dark green for black. Cyan & yellow are ok.
Could it be contaminated? On Monday I'll start checking the lines to see if they're clogged. Anybody else think of a solution?

Sorry for late reply. That sounds like cross contamination to me. Can solve this by pulling the dampers out and sucking all the ink through til there is no ink left in the damper with a syringe, then put it back in and suck the ink back into the dampers.

Are your pads swollen on the capping station?
