Mutoh VJ 1604 Preheat error

Please help my mutoh some how the preheat when too hot even without printing. Error code E076ERR any one have this problem before, print half job waiting to fix this problem.Very unusual.
Are you capable of removing the rear platen?
If so power off the machine and unplug power, check to insure that the heater is stuck to the platen and the thermister (temp sensor) is also attached to the heater.
The thermister should be bolted to the platen.
But check all connections for the heaters and thermistor while you are in there.
