Mutoh VJ 1624 - trapezoid prints

Hello, dear members. I really need to ask you guys for help. After changing Parking station, our prints started to deform... We encountered many problems with VJ 1624, but found solutions after all.. but this one is really tough.. It is hard to see by eye, but image is deformed to trapezoid shape. We tried to do calibration, encoder cleaning, good media insert also full software reinstall (Onyx), registry cleaning after deinstallation, printer reset, IP, etc..

Probably need a new encoder strip. My Roland was doing the same thing. I put in a new encoder strip, did the calibrations and the problem was solved.

I think the strip was less than $30US delivered. If you can wait Alibaba has them for $10 or so, but it takes a couple weeks from China.

Some technician came there and done it in 5 minutes.. it was printing good, then it broke again in 2 days.. bud he dont want to tell us what he did.. has anyone some idea?
