My dog needs a name

Dee O Gie has a nice ring to it....Cruiser is the name of our travel softball team so that was up there in the top 5. Gino is simple but effective. Rocky was my sweet precious dog that died recently, hence the new dog. Jagger is cool but his best friend (yes he has a best friend already) is named Jasper so thats too close.

i could name him if i played with him for a few minutes...
but just looked at his pic again... he has kind of a mischievous look on his cute little face, so i'm gonna say...

TAZ

for tasmanian devil

and if he's really mellow, i still like Taz, cuz calling him the opposite of what he is would be funny.
(i say "here kitty kitty" to my dog)

Translation names are always cool too. My grandfather's adopted stray was named Gaila. Everyone would say that it was a beautiful name and when asked what it meant we told them its lithuanian for "pathetic"

Skooter
Chowder
Here Boy

Seems like no matter what you name them, you end up with a nickname that you use more than their actual name.
Mines gets called "Stinky" a lot.

I have a "what should I name my dog" story from back when I got my dog, Kirby....But it would definitely have to go in the no holds barred section.
I laughed the minute I first saw this thread topic!
