My Hero: David Smith

I've friended him on facebook. Every time he posts something I go through a myriad of emotions. First it's excitement, even before I have a chance to study the design, because I know it's going to be top shelf. Then I'm depressed, because I worry that I will never be that good, then I'm inspired to work harder so hopefully, one day in the distant future, I will be that good. well.... probably not. A guy can dream though.

Here's another one he did: http://viacomit.net/en/2013/02/22/jameson-limited-edition-by-david-smith-to-st-patricks-day/

Not only is he one of THE BEST FRIGGIN SIGN MEN on the planet....he's a nice bloke too.
And he loves pugs.
Got to see him and his work in person a few years back.
His work is just sickening...he's that good.
Love....Jill

You should check his van out if he still has it, He was talking about selling it a few years back.
Another very talented English person is Nick Garrett, his work is also worth checking out.
Look him up on face book London Traditional sign Writer.

Nice post.
Thanks.
I don't think he's worried about some guy with a printer and plotter moving into his hood.
