I've run this through my usual mill, but struck out. Anybody?

Looks hand painted. Look at the bottom area of the first image. They are slightly different.

That would just be the effects of my vectorization of the low-res sample. I'm confident that this is a font, as repeated letters were identical. It's driving me bonkers, as I'm trying everything I can think of. Waiting for Tiki to pull a rabbit out of his hat.

Might help if you posted the original sample in addition to your edited version.
