Need a little help.

I changed the manifold on one head of my SP-300 and now that head is working fine.

Please take a look at the test print and let me know what you think is causing this problem.

I have also replaced the cap tops, wipers and cartridges.

I pulled the ink from under the cap tops and it flowed with no problem into the syringe.

Thanks Jim

Pease take a look and let me know what you think

Not sure how to correct this problem and I really need input and advice before I start making any adjustments.

Thank You. Jim

Check all your cables running to the head and make sure they're attached securely.

I've seen this when I didn't have one of the ribbon cables on the head properly seated.

I've also seen this when I had a bad head once, and a bad head board once.

Otctech Thank You !!!!!!!!!!

I had removed only the lower part of the ribbon cable off of one head but some how when replacing the dampers I must have just moved the upper ribbon cable enough and that was the problem.

I had already looked at the bottom part of the cable to make sure it was plugged into the head but I did not see the top part of the cable which was just not plugged all the in.

The printer is now printing perfectly again thanks to you and a few others who have helped me learn to replace the dampers, wiper, scraper and a manifold on one head.

I could not have any of this without the support that this forum provides.

Special Thanks Jim Hill
