Need HELP Bad...Please Graphtec FC7000

Hi, my name is Jay and im new to this Plotter. It was working fine and when I printed some new stickers and went to cut...it took the media all the way to the end and set the origin. I moved the plotter to the position I wanted and set the origin again. I sent the cut file from FlexiPrint and as soon as it takes off it goes back to the original spot and keeps spinning and runs my material out. And of course it does not read the reg. marks at all and gives me an error. I really need some help on this for I need to ship these stickers out today and have wasted about 5 hours trying to figure this out. Thanks for your time and patience. Have a good day. I will be more than happy to give you my number if you can help out on the phone. Thanks...so much.

You should be selecting Roll1 - Rear set and it will read the right end. Sounds backwards, I know, but don't use the front set - it will look for the end of the roll... I think that's what's happening with your cutter

Thanks so much for your help...now its reading my reg. marks. But when it gets to the last reg. mark it says load media? and when i hit continue it rolls my media out.....any clue what i can do now? Thanks again for all your help.

Add some scrap to the end - you've got to give it some room past that last set of marks.

You get the load media error when you are cutting and the media comes up on the back so the sensor can't see it's there. Sometimes that's from a small buckle in the vinyl - in which case continue will work.

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

What she said, you need about 4" or so of trailer after the registration marks.

Also when doing print and cut you usually specify 'Sheet' not 'Roll'.

U gal/guys are some awesome help thank you. I put some extra material on the end and it just keeps spinning and my material falls off and gives me an out of media error. Now its giving me a Y position alarm...what do i do about this? Thanks again for your help.
