Need help can't open a file

can someone open an .eps file and save it as an older version for me? i have illustrator cs2 but can't open this file. it's just a background that someone wants to use on a banner.

Before you send it off to someone else, try opening a page in Illustrator and then using the Place command to put the EPS on it. I have been able to open later versions of EPS using that as a workaround.
