Need help, with using two colors of vinyl placing one color behind the other to make a outline all the way around the number, what is the simple way to do this, Thanks for your help

Seeing how we don't know which program you have the language might not be right, but most programs you would put a contour around the letters.

You need to invest in a book or training video for your program. Your asking a very basic question and obviously have alot to learn.

Your profile says you use FlexiStarter. If this is your only design software then you are probably without the ability to create an outline vector. You should consider something such as CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator or an upgrade to your Flexi to be able to carry out many of these commonly used modifications that are not included with the entry level version of FlexiSign.

You'll have design it while thinking in layers of color. Your "outline" layer would go down first then the inner color(s) would be placed over it. The more you do the easier this thought process will be. The others are right in that you have a lot to learn, but don't get disheartened. It's certainly doable and rewarding when you finish a great project.
