Need help making text/object appear flattened

Not sure if I'm explaining this correctly but is there a way in flexi to make text and/or objects look flattened or rotated back? This look would be similar to a cast shadow, but I really just want the look of the full shadow, not just the pieces of the shadow? I'm guessing shadow is not the way to accomplish this, but gives readers an idea of what I'm after. Thanks in Advance for any help.
