Need HELP!!!! Rasterlink and parallel port

Hello From sunny Puerto Rico, I have a MIMAKI JV3 75SP AND is having problems with the Fire wire board. How can i make the RASTERLINK SOFTWARE WORK WITH THE JV3 PARALLEL PORT?

THE SOFTWARE IS ASKING TO AD THE PRINTER, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW.

Replace the firewire board. I haven't seen a parallel port used in ages and it would be extremely slow to print to, the data throughput on parallel is tiny (2-4MB/s). Firewire is 480MB/s or faster with the newer specs.

You will need to buy a new fire wire board, Mimaki doesn't work on a parallel port. You can buy a new board probably at your local computershop.

carefully read the install pdf th at comes with the firewire install cd. methodically do both installs described in the instructions.
