need help Which file to use?

I purchased a Jaguar II plotter from a shop closing up.

I know you can design in Corel for the cut file,
What format do I send it to the printer in?
Do I save or export or send it as a file as if I were sending it to a regualr printer.?

Convert every thing to curves, then to EPS, also good to lower the Corel file from higher # to a lower like #8,9,10 look for this as you are getting it ready media.
Hope I explained this right.
