Need Help Need Info On Converting Cjv30 From Cmyklmlc+wh To Cmykx2

HI I have a cjv30 in cmyklmlcwhsl and i want to convert it to cmykx2 . I have a service manual but do i need a y connector to join the inks near the cartridges . I was going to change the silver and white lines . Any help would be appreciated . I can figure out the settings just the physical stuff i need to do .
