Need Roland SP300V Head ASAP

My magenta/yellow head took a dump. I can get a tech out of Chicago Monday to install a new magenta head but the mileage, labor and parts will cost me over $1200!

Does anybody know where I can overnight or quick ship a head for this Roland SP300V for less than $800?

Sorry I haven't been around in a while...life has been crazy busy building a house, moving in and my non-profit work. It will be good to catch up with everyone! ;-)

Somebody on here was selling a couple of new Roland SP heads for a few hundred dollars a while back but I cant remember who...

The tech said it caused my f1 or f2 fuse to blow. I personally believe it was from a lightning strike. Not sure if you'd want it, because if the tech is correct, then you'd have a bigger problem on your hands. I just keep it because it looks cool.

I went through the same thing nobody could speak English then I spoke with Robert he walk me through it and spoke English what a re leaf he will treat you right.

Never buy from roland dealer.
they are too much expensive.
reaplace is very easy.
I bought it fuse 97cent. roland dealer charge $11.00. fuxx that it.
they are cheater.
print head $899. I pay $699($600)
mainboard $1954. I can find new board is$1100. fix $200.
power supply $ 800. I can buy $500. fix depense on ($25 ~ $100)
we need learn fix ourself.
Do not trust Dealer.

I bought the head locally today to get the printer back up and running quickly. I don't think that all dealers are bad and you must consider the cost of down time as well. Sometimes it costs you less just to have someone come out and fix the machine but you are right in regards that we should be knowledgeable about our machines.
