Need to install readograph tracking on ACP

We need to install readograph tracking onto some aluminium composite panels and arent sure what is the best way to adhere them to it. On acrylic we use resin bond but thats not going to work on here so I am looking for options to use.

I'd do LORD's plus a few rivets for good measure (im assuming the track is acrylic)

expansion difference shouldn't affect it that much unless its a really long run

yes the tracking is acrylic. I thought about rivets but having never used rivets on ACP I wasnt sure if they would hold

Rivets

A little late to the party I know, but if it comes up again... we use rivets to hold changeable copy track to maxmetal quite often, holds fine. The issue is the thickness of the 2 pieces....you need to use a large enough rivet (I think we normally use 1/2" long as the 1/4" rivet just doesnt stick out enough to grab properly) which does leave a bit of a bulge on the back side.

We have installed zip track to ACM with screws without ever having a failure. Pre-drill the zip track and oversize the holes and screw to the ACM. Leave the screws a bit slack so the zip track "wiggles" a bit ( like vinyl siding) so you can allow for expansion. This method seems to work well when covering with a protective face frame and clear lexan. The face frame will of course add heat buildup creating more expansion/contraction which can buckle or crack the acrylic .
If you choose this method I would recommend using stainless screws to prevent rust stains from "dripping" down the face of the ACM.
