Need to remove spray paint from clear acrylic

Try a little brake fluid. Sounds crazy by I have saved a few panels doing it (thanks to Si Allen's suggestion). Of course, try it on a little area first.

When I do back sprayed acrylic panels, if any of the paint gets to the front I just use a little wd-40 that I spray on a work rag ... rubs right off.

if it's fresh paint, prepsol (wax and grease remover)should do the job. may take a little soak and a little rubbing, but it wont effect the acrylic

I said I would try and get pictures of the problem up yesterday but wasn't able to get around to it. So here the pictures are of the problem with the sign.
