Need UV Label that is Standard Inkjet Printable?

We have a client that wants us to print labels for them on UV Colorado 1630. They also need to print a lot number and expiration date with a standard desktop inkjet printer.

Is there such a media?

Thanks, Ed

Lol.. Depends on their printer..

Best thing to do is give them a sample and trial it. Just a small off cut.

Most home and office inkjet dry by absorption, so if the ink doesn't get absorbed - it'll just sit on the surface and wipe off..

A paper type substrate would be best..

Alternatively - resin based thermal printers are often used to print such data.

Educating clients is usually a better idea than letting them dictate a poor solution.

i would ask someone like onlinelabel.com for a LIST of likely suspects,
THEN request a couple foot sample of each
you print on it, the let your client print on it
choose the best one
