In Photoshop, when I duplicated and merged some colore layers and then dragged them over to new pallatte, the new image was black and white. Any ideas?

new pallette?...you mean window?
If that's the case, your new window was in greyscale.

yes, I meant window. Stupid me. Thanks. For some reason I had the greyscale turned on in the image-mode.
