New DVD Burners not showing up in MY COMPUTER. HELP!!!

I just bought the drives listed below for my system. I shut it down installed the new DVD Drives with SATA cables and they don't open or show up on my system. Any help is appreciated.

You may have to go into your bios to have them recognized.

I went to bios and it only shows the 2 hard drives in my system

what OS your using
32 bit or 64 bit

drivers? go to control panel and make comp search for new stuff! see what happens

OK I think I found the problem. I assumed you only needed the SATA cable but after doing some more research I am pretty sure I need a SATA power cable. Am I correct in thinking this?

Correct, you'll need to hook up two cables. One goes to your mobo the other from your power supply.
