new Gerber palette update. now omega wont open

I installed the new Gerber palette update on my computer that has windows 10 on it. It is running Omega 6.0. now my Omega composer will not open. I then used the update feature to remove the new update, and when I then went to open Omega, it still won't open it tells me that it Is missing the gspfoil.pal, which is the new palette. I restarted the computer each time. Still wont work. Any ideas why?

When you uninstalled it deleted what it delivered as an update, so the files are gone. A reinstall of Omega 6.0 will put the missing file back.

Now the "real" issue, after the Material Update what error message did you get when running Composer?

All the files in the Material Update are found in the following folder(s):
C:\ProgramData\Gerber\Omega 4.0\Palettes
C:\ProgramData\Gerber\Omega 5.0\Palettes
C:\ProgramData\Gerber\Omega 6.0\Palettes

the files should be

firefile.b32
e3fire.b32
gspfoils.pal
gspclrid.dat

and maybe a few others but these are the important ones.

Make sure no virus protection apps are blocking these.
