I've been in the printing industry for almost 14 years, starting at the family business when I was 16 years old.
Originally we were a photographic lab and made the switch to digital printing in the late 90's/early 2000's. So I started off doing film scanning and quick prints, running the flatbed, and transitioned into sales as I gained experience.
We've started a new online company that allows people to create signs from scratch or select one of our templates to edit. Our products include vinyl banners, banner stands, posters, decals, and a lot of other products. We manufacture everything in house.
So our business is starting to shift from brick and mortar to more online based.
I'm always trying to learn about the industry. That's why I joined the forum, to continue learning, get new ideas, and see what others in the same or similar printing areas are doing today.
