I saw that also I wont use it either. Another wolf in sheeps clothing. If IE gave a damn they would have been the leader all these past years in browsing, instead people were flocking in droves to find another browser

I will say the commercial makes you "think" about using them again.

Wow! Microsoft is going to do what FireFox and Chrome have been doing for years. What is sad is that Microsoft should be the leader here yet they can't get out of there own way. Instead of testing to the point of stupidity and then waiting to market the daylights out of something.

They should have been innovating like Mozilla and Google and getting products on the market and making it where the users could contribute to development. Sadly, I think IE is going to go the way of the Dodo bird.

My 74 y.o. father in law even knows enough to not use IE, he prefers firefox because in his words its "easier to play poker on"

Years ago when the internet was just starting to show up with compuserv and aohell there was netscape, which was the first user friendly and practical browser.I can remember the time when one had to type in an ip address(pre dns) to get to a website address. In his attempt to oust netscape browser software(now firefox) gates decided to integrate IE as an integral part of windows in order to avoid lawsuits which he later lost,...henceforth IE has been handcuffed into the windows OS and that is why it has not evolved in the manner the competitors such as chrome and firefox have been,..also after it cost mickey soft millions upon millions in lawsuit settlements they may not wish to re enter the area of browser competition just as a way of staying off the radar for the ambulance chasers
Using chrome here and the occaisional "nightly"(firefox beta edition) browsers,....
