New ink cartridges shows only 1% ink

Just bought CMYK cartridges for my S40 and all these cartridges shows only 1% ink even tho it's new and full, can it be fixed or should i return it.

I would contact the seller and ask them.

definitely flag with reseller. I would make sure date is valid. Just to be safe, Id have them swap.

In the last 13 years I have gotten four new epson cartridges that show as empty or defective. Each time epson replaced the cartridges, once they gave me an extra ink because I complained of the hassle. The first time they had me return the bad cartridge. Other times they told me to dispose of them, so of course I swapped out chips and was able to reset them to full. In your case, it seems highly unlikely three new cartridges would show as 1%. Perhaps it is your machine? Or are these refilled cartridges and the chip reset does not like your machine?

It was the cartridges' chips, i got a replacement yesterday and the replacements worked.

Glad you got it solved. That is crazy that a vendor can ship 4 defective carts.
