New member bought machine to make stencils

Hi there, I am a stay at home mom who loves to craft, I was tired of buying stencils for lots of money and decided to try it myself. I bought a cheap cutter off of craigslist and have been playing with it. It came with Winpcsign letter 2005 which is OK. I downloaded Signblazer trial and really like how it cuts.

In winpcsign, I couldn't get my letters to close up, I tried it in signblazer and they cut perfectly. I was able to change the knife offset to .30 on signblazer and can't change it that low on Winpcsign. Does anyone know how I can cut bridges (to keep the inside of letters like O B A, etc in for painting in signblazer? I figured it out in Winpcsign, but can't in signblazer.

Any help would be greatly apprecited,

Thanks!

Welcome

Sorry I don't know anything about those programs.

Can you choose a pre-bridged stencil font? OR weld bridges in the letters manually?

No, I would like to use other fonts, That is what I can't figure out is how to put the bridge in in signblazer, works great in winpcsign.

instead of using stencils, just cut some vinyl...nicer looking than a stencil, then you can use any font.

or you could get any color vinyl...reverse weed it, then put on whatever you were stenciling, then paint, then pull the vinyl off.

Yes, I allready have mylar that is backed with paper, it pulls off adhesive free. I basically want to use the negative as a stencil, but need to figure out how to cut in little bridges on the letters that need it. In winpcsign, you can cut it into the letter, I can't figure it out on signblazer, which is cutting my letters perfect, no need to an exacto blade like on winpcsign.
