Hello Everyone,
I am a new employee within the Banner Market and have some questions about sealing hems and seams on Banners and signs. I understand there are a few ways to do this - Stitching, Welding and Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes. Can anyone tell me if there are good Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes in the market. If so are they displacing the other sealing methods? What are the advantages and disadvantages to each method. Thanks so much for your help.

Regards,
Susan

Welcome.

I'm assuming you're speaking of the run of the mill banner hemming tape, Correct?
I'm not aware of pressure sensitive banner tape, but I could be wrong.

Banner hemming tape is a super thin, clear, double sided tape that most people
use to hem benners. It come in more brands than I could name, and every sign vendor
sells a couple different types. I have never noticed any being any better or worse than another.
