New Mimaki cg 160 - plotter with problems

My new mimaki plotter don't working. After detect the second front register mark continue out the vinyl and return but stay detecting the border of the vinyl side by side (the head) and the media running front and back like 2 inches, this only happens with 30 inches plus media. Not with smaller sheets, how I can post a video?

To me it sounds like one of the marks your trying to pick up is not inside the gap between the two outer pinch rollers.

If not, are you using finecut?

yes, I using finecut. the problem is with 30 inches media ,let me upload a video.

yes . I using fine cut. Iam frustrated new printer and new plotter and can't complete customers orders

A few ideas...

Check that your media is running straight

Make sure your media is inside all your pinch rollers


How many points are you using for registration?

The problem is with the segmented cross mark. I print verticals ones and the plotter try to read horizontal. Corel Draw 2017 with finecut
