Whats wrong with the arlon?

We use 3M 180 MC, or 180CV3 to print / plot a lot.

If you're cutting tiny letters it'lll always be a pain if you're using something with comply thats been printed though... the gummyness of overlam + the air release adhesive makes tiny intricate cuts a lot harder than non printed vinyls.

Arial - it's almost helvetica
Arlon SLX+ works good for me and about everyone else here that uses it. Prints, sticks and weeds good. Plain SLX is not the same though, it doesn't like to stick.

We use Avery 2105 with 1360 lam. High end graphtec cutter. Like said above, if it's smaller stuff like 1/2 inch tall letters it will always be a pain. Humidity plays a factor as well.

that slx has a low initial tack. my little letters slid all over the liner. we don't use slx+ because the installers like the low initial tack.

I made do. but I wanted a premium vinyl on this ride.

You have to pick your poison. SLX+ is stupid easy to install and honestly a good installer can work with about anything, that SLX sucks, it has no tack to it. Tell them just like I do my painters when they start that nonsense, it's not the gun, it's not the thing you are spraying and it's not the paint, its you, the guy pulling the trigger that is messing up the job. You're the boss, the employees have to work with what they are given. The SLX+ is the best that I have found for contour cutting too.
