New to Sign Business

Hi Everyone!

I am so glad I found this web page because I am new to the sign business and always have questions but I don't know who to ask.

I have a graphtec CE5000-60 plotter that I use with Illustrator CS2 and the Cutting Master 2 plug-in. I am currently working on a graphic that I would like to arc the text. I have arced the text in Illustator but the plotter still wants to cut it in a straight line. I tried converting the text to outlines as I normally would do but same thing straight line. If anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them. I'm sure its something easy,I just can't figure it out. :help:

Did you go to "OBJECT" and hit "EXPAND" or "EXPAND TRANSPARENCY" ?
